Greg played with the The Real Imposters from 2013 until 2018. The band performed covers, but not the tired tunes that every cover band plays. That strategy paid off for the cover band from Gloucester County. They developed a strong following in the local clubs. Their typical set list had something for everyone and included songs spanning from the 1950s to the modern day.
With their depth of talent, the Real Imposters played many genres from rock and pop to Motown and country. On any given night at a Real Imposters show, you could hear music as varied as Elvis, Johnny Cash, the Beatles, the Temptations, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Adele, Fleetwood Mac, Daft Punk, and Linda Rondstadt!
In 2018, the band featured April Chimes on lead vocals, Frank Deacon on bass, Greg Potter on guitar, Tony Monzo on guitar, Bob Sworaski on keyboards and George Orginos on drums. Ed McCaffrey was the original drummer from 2013 to 2018, as well as the founder of the group.
